Qualification for the first round of the 2013 season took place late this afternoon and all of the drivers spent most of the day trying to decide if it was going to be wets or slicks, in the end the rain swept in and they went out to be welcomed by hail and strong winds.
I set up at maggots / Beckets and witnessed at least four spins in the dodgy conditions. With conditions as they were it isn’t always clear who will be on the pace in the race but as expected the A+ cars led the field witH Tim Hhod on pole wi a 1.04
Class A was headed by Dean Cook and class B was Graham Walden. Class C was headed by new boy Chris Hayward-Browne in the new Chimaera.
Lets hope we have at least one dry race tomorrow.
